Hello fellow storyans,
Does anyone knows how microsoft keep track of its product key expiration? I have observed that even if I backtrack the date from the bios, microsoft still detects the correct number of days left of your product key.
Hello fellow storyans,

i activate rman na nimo dba.
unless dli na genuine imo OS.
kung pirated na dli makatabang dri.
i don't think naa expiration ang product keys kung full genuine version imong palit. what you have there i think is you're running windows as a trial version because of an incorrect/fake key.
nya encrypted or encoded ba kha in anyway
then i store nimo dd2 ang date w/c is originally cya na install
so dli cya dependent sa system date.
hmmm....bitaw no.
Even if mag.backtrack ka sa imong BIOS date, maka.check gihapon sa expiry?
These data should be written in the registry, it should be encrypted to avoid altering.
1. Date when the OS is installed.
2. SERIAL / Product ID.
3. Flag/Counter
Create an internal counter instead of relying on the system clock.
@vern,
What do you mean about internal counter ?
