gusto lang ko makabaw expecially for those guys out there nga dako na ug experience..
nag wonder lang ko f kinsay mas dako ug salary?

considering nga bag.o pa nga na hire.. as in fresh grad. pa jud..and first time in the industry..

di ba magdepende man sad na sa company? so in general nalang..

you're trying to compare orange and apple here... both have different flavors, different colors... slightly different taste, its difficult to answer bro....

both are fresh starters:

Web dev. but using C#/JAVA and ORACLE?
soft. dev. but using VB and MsACCESS?

or

Web dev. but using PHP & MySQL
Soft. dev. using C# / C++

not considering the COMPANY, Level of skills (even though fresh starter), Project specification and his/her role in both discipline.

1) Firmware developer
2) System developer (Drivers, etc.)

pero mahulog ghpon sa company...naay company nga dagko mo sweldo og network administrator,call center agents compare sa ubang company nga mo sweldo og mga developer...ang style sa ubang company kay salary base sa imong previous employer nya kng fresh grad starting salary rate sa mga jr. developer which is 12-15k.

Why not make it both web and dev.

Para nako mas nindot kung imong code pina Model, View, Controller(MVC) style. You just it make only the model or process. The view and controller part will be either the web and desktop applications.

Firmware developer or embedded systems developer.

They are the ones doing software for your microwave ovens, watches, remote controls, cellphones, alarms, TVs, DVDs and devices which the computer (MCU) is embedded in the device. The processors on most of these devices have very limited in RAM and code space. Doing software for these devices is a challenge due to its limitations.
