Default All about buses in the Philippines

Not really sure if this is the right thread to put this topic, anyway if not, mods please feel free to move this one.

This topic came about since I got inspired from the same topic in Flickr and in Skyscrapercity.com...and also because I believe its still the most convenient way of traveling short and even long distances especially within cebu lang or from Cebu to Negrosf and any other places...

Ill start it off...ever since before, I'm really a fan of VTI (Ceres, Rural and Bachelor) since I'm from Negros...

Hope they start deploying these babies here in Cebu na...they just deployed them for the Dgte-Bayawan route...hopefully naa nasad nya Cebu-Dumaguete...

    Kinglong na bus...

kinglong, is that a korean brand?

i think wala paman guro na nga buses diri sa cebu. but i think the current aircon buses are good enough for me. i've ridden those that travel to the north, as well as to the south. paspas pud managan oy.

but if those come here to cebu, sulayan nako sakay ana nila.

OT: i don't know about you guys, but the last image reminds me of an angry, little, blonde girl with ponytails. hehehe

It's a Chinese brand if I'm not mistaken...pero ang iya makina ani Hino man daw...and body lang niya ang Kinglong...

This is the staple unit for bus lines here in Luzon na...usually mao na ni ila unit...if not kay Higer or Golden Dragon...

Nakasakay na ko ani several times...nindot ni siya ug interiors...flat screen TV if im not mistake 2 kabuok, one sa front and the other sa tunga if sa dako na unit, kung katong shorter na unit isa lang ka flat screen sa atobangan...pero ok lang man sad ang mga existing karon na Hino nga buses sa Ceres...pero nice jud ni siya if mao ni ila gamiton diri...for sure mas daghan pa jud maganahan mo sakay ug Ceres especially if kani na units...

Last year pa na siya gadagan sa mindanao...daghan na Kinglong units nga gadagan ang Rural and Bachelor...sister companies sa Ceres (same owner lang, Yanson of Bacolod).

Here sa Visayas, so far ang byahe ani nga unit is ILoilo-Caticlan, Bacolod-Cadiz, Bacolod-Kabankalan and Dumaguete-Bayawan...
