PLDT DSL Problems... (Low Bandwidth)

PLDT DSL Subscribers,

is anyone else experiencing low bandwidth? (I get around 80kbps speed) Maximum download speeds average at about 10-12KB/s. I've called PLDT and they told me that they had not heard of anyone who was or is having the problem.

I've also read from previous posts about their BAD DNS problems. Can anyone shed light on this?

download speed is dependent on the source of the file.

magdownload ka sa seagate... un disk manager nila mabilis dun....

site to site kasi yan, congestion, traffic may obstract and slow downspeed...

It's not a site problem... I'm talking about slowness in all aspects...(Browsing, Bittorrent etc) Any pldt subscribers here? I've tried multiple bandwidth testing websites... i only get 80kbps. Using PLDT's 768kbps plan.

im not satisfied with PLDT myDSL. i only get around 150Kbps using mcafee test ... worse, i sometimes get lower than that...

same download speed as yours. and internet connection is intermittent... and there are some sites that cannot be accessed..
very bad.

if i call them, then that will make two of us... that if they will acknowledge.
their costumer service is unsatisfactory... i've called them many times.

i want to switch to Globe but i want to make sure i dont get the same prob.

atay ako pud na puta na sa pldt kay hinay kaayo ang amo connection. bago bago lang pud ni. ga sugod karong april 05, 2006. atay kaayo. mura nami naka dial up and daghan napud mi mga sites na dili gyud ma access pero kung mag gamit ko ug online proxies kay maka access ko. atay gyud aning pldt uy.

diri sa akong ISP which is PHILCOM, PLDT baya ang line nila gikuha pero makaaccess mn ko sa kadtong gareklamo nga dili maaccess ang ultimate guitar... i think pLDT na nga problem maybe DNS..
