What does this sign mean?

Can someone please tell me what that sign means (the one that looks like a lamp)... Is it normal to have that "on" when I start the car? Thanks.

Its an Oil Pressure Indicator, When you lose oil pressure or run out of oil due to a leak this warning light goes on

Its normal that it goes on before starting as a part of a POWER On Test but after the engine starts it should normally turn off, if after you start your engine this warning light is still on and after a few seconds it goes off it could be that your engine is lacking oil.

when the ignition is in "on" position and the engine is not running. those lights turn on to check if the bulbs arent burnt. with engine running and those are still on. you should have it checked.

it is normal if you turn the key on but if your engine is running then there must be wrong with your engine oil or lack of it..

naka encounter ko ana bro sa ako suzuki mini van. kulang ug oil imo makina ana. pag pa change oil nko wa na gyod ni turn on kana nga lamp sign.
