please specify kung unsa kind of connection imo existing krn, hardwares used (eg.router, modem etc) para dali ra ko makahelp nimo.. you may not really need VNC Server, simple Remote Desktop which is built with XP or Vista will do..
I want to connect to a PC on my office that has a firewall and is using a proxy for our PC's internet using BayanTel. The PC Im connecting from has no proxy but is using SmartBro

i have tried accessing my inet server running ubuntu 8.04 from Cagayan de oro to Cebu with this apps....so far no glitches but added some extra security.....using SSH
nxmachine
vnc
putty
the built-in RD viewer of ubuntu

I was thinking more about PCAnywhere, GotoMyPC style na dili ra mu.setup ng server ug client. NAa ray middle server. I found EchoServer but my brain isn't working great these days >_>
If your trying to connect to your Office PC through your Home PC using the VNC murag maglisod ka bro. Usually gi block na sa IT people ang incoming connection sa network using VNC (Port 5500, 5900). I already tried even the Remote Desktop Connection sa Windows XP but it is blocked. But actually there's a way you can still remotely access your Office PC or your Home PC without opening those bunch of ports in the network. You don't even need to have wide knowledge about networking. You don't even need to install the software. Use TeamViewer.
configure imo firewall bro na mo accept cya og connection from sa imo IP na gi gamit na mo connect sa imo home pc
or try remote anything bro, very nice software, and sayon pud kaau gamiton.
