Default Media 'guilty' in Mindanao reporting

Sun.Star Network Online - Media 'guilty' in Mindanao reporting

i have to post this because when i read it, it makes my blood boils.

Media profits from the pain of other people. this is much worst that the media circus that we have here north of mindanao (unfounded scandals and exposes) because they cause physical and mental anguish to the people. and when confronted with their excesses they make excuses: they have to earn. is there a law against this? anyway, it is useless because in this country the law is merely a suggestion.

    Tinuod man jud ni.

"Wala may maminaw sa radyo reporter nga dili sensational ang treatment sa balita (Nobody will listen to a reporter whose news isn't sensational),"

Mao ni nakaingon nga pataka na lang na sila ug pamalita bisan dili confirmado ang ilang source.

Unfortunately, the news we get from Mindanao are all negative. It's as if Mindanao could never be peaceful in any way.

I'd like to think the residents there would still want a peaceful community. This is the reason why they support our soldiers and troops there who have been hunting down the renegade commanders who have done atrocities to many civilians. Maybe if the media will do something beneficial like helping in fund raising projects, it would be better.

Amen to this. I am from Mindanao and I must say those war-ravaged areas are isolated, just a small portion of Mindanao. But the way media is describing our place, it's as if, we Mindanaoans, are war freaks and would chop anyone's head off for no apparent reason at all.

    We are peace-loving people.

Most of the time, media is overacting just to catch viewers attention.

ang original purpose of media is to divulge truth i think... pero marunong man gud ang tawo, when there is a spot where you could earn money, mawala ang original nga purpose niya....
