I don't have kids but before I have little siblings and I hate it when they do that.. what I did was I bought a blackboard for them to study and write whatever and whenever they want... it really helps a lot. And they enjoyed that too.. coz mura daw cla teacher.. na wala na jud ang pagka vandalism.

During the mural painting days of my eldest, I placed Manila paper (the cheapest ones) on a portion of our walls and set limits that art would be confined to this space only...

where to get the scratch papers?

ambot lang sa inyo, kay kami kay naa mi cafe man gud, mga sayop na print ba or hugaw mao na xa scratch nmo. pwd man sad newspaper, guntingon na nila..hmuon ug heart, tao, etc. kay ika isa ako habol gi gunting nila, kato pa jud nindot. T.T

hi im going to share my secret in dealing with children who writes on the wall.. its an expression for these todlers (hasta gani pud adults) to write on walls... its a psychological thing. heres how: buy a cartolina (different colors if you like) then stick it in the wall, then tell your child that this area/section is his/her area...they can write, draw or paint there pero ngadto lang na area. when they need to express themselves they will just go to their wall... mahurot na gani, ilisi napud ug cartolina...Keep their WORK OF ART (its priceless).

Also, include the kids in cleaning the mess or drawings they made on the walls and furniture. Aside from learning that these areas are not for scribbling and drawing, at an early age, they will also understand responsibility and accountability.
