Default Sun Cellular introduces next generation broadband

WITH its relentless drive to offer Filipinos with more innovative services, Sun Cellular continues its aggressive run with the recent introduction of its next generation broadband service–Sun Broadband Wireless.

Powered by Sun’s latest generation High-Speed Packet Access (HSPA or simply 3.5G) and all-IP network, Sun Broadband Wireless brings the latest mobile broadband technology at the same super value that Sun is best known for.

Imagine the flexibility of having broadband service 24/7, thereby creating a new level of personal high-speed Internet experience at very affordable rates.

Sun Broadband Wireless delivers the most competitive mobile broadband packages in the market today.

For as low as P999 a month and with no one-time modem charges to boot, one gets to enjoy flat-rate broadband service whether at home, in the office or anywhere in between.

With its simple “plug and play” set-up – all one need is Sun Broadband Wireless SIM card and USB modem, whether connected to desktop PC or your laptop, Sun Broadband Wireless redefines one’s Internet online experience.

Says Ricky Peña, Sun Cellular vice president for postpaid and new business, “The market for mobile broadband is just starting to open up and we at Sun, are happy to find ourselves catching it at the right time. With the huge investment made to build an advanced broadband network, we are committed to offer only the best quality next generation broadband service for our customers, at the same best value proposition that we are known for in our cellular service.”

Sun Broadband Wireless is initially available in Makati, Manila, Mandaluyong, Quezon City, Las PInas, Muntinlupa, Paranaque, Pasay, Pasig and will soon cover the whole Metro Manila area. The service is also backed up by Sun’s GPRS, EDGE and 3G network platforms thereby allowing customers with built-in service redundancy, especially in areas where 3.5G may not be available
    yet.

No talk of speed? Next generation? Wow! What is that? Super high speed wireless broadband everywhere?

I just hate it when ISP's advertise "High Speed Internet" without saying the actual speed. Looks like their target market are the uninformed people who just looks at the word "high speed".

If their coverage like their cellphone network, it will be a joke!
Better they invest first in a working cellular network than trying to go into something new for them.
