Yes. When you are downloading your pirated warez make sure to leave bandwidth for ACKs. When the remote host you are downloading from sends you data, that data is verified that you actually received it. The same thing happens when you are uploading. It is an inherent part of TCP which most P2P software use to communicate. It doesn't take much bandwidth though. Give it around 5-10KB and you should be all good. Lots of P2P software like eDonkey or Bit Torrent give users who are uploading to them preferential treatment. That is also inherent to the software.
