hmm.. comment lang ko sa inyong wa nakit-an.. hehe

nindot gyud tan-awn tanan Star Wars. although ang first three (IV-VI) mas nindot kaysa later movies (I-III) in terms of plot. But if you're after sa effects, of course mas nindot and I-III.

Then mao pud ni ang first sa trilogy so mao ni nag-start pag-reveal how amazing the world that Peter Jackson created. Sa tulo pinaka-nindot ang third: Return of the King. Mao ni ang mas fast-paced.

Sa The Matrix, ang first ray para nako nindot kay fresh and vibrant. plus napay lawm nga subtext. ang succeeding movies morag repetitive ra kaau.. puro ra machines and machines.

The Sixth Sense is not a trilogy. Although it is the first movie that Shyamalan made. The succeeding movies he made kay wa nay ayo. So if you must watch a Shyamalan movie, try the 6th sense. You should watch it kay nindot kaayo nga thriller especially kung wapa ka kabalo sa final twist sa last part. If you recall, Haley Joel Osment, who plays the kid character who says "I see dead people", got a well-deserved nomination for a Best Actor Oscar.

Batman Begins and The Da Vinci Code are both not trilogies. As of now, there are still only two batman movies that Chris nolan directed. With the success it's getting, I think he will make more than three. The Da Vinci Code is also not a trilogy kay ang follow-up niya is only Angels and Demons, which is more like a prequel.

Batman Begins is recommended kay nindot siya nga reboot of the franchise especially kung gusto ka mo-watch sa The Dark Knight. The Dark Knight is what I consider the best superhero movie ever. It is a must see, if not because of the amazing Heath in his final movie, but for the compellingly deep plot, believable, strong, and sympathetic characters, and of course, mind-blowing action.

The Da Vinci Code was very disappointing especially if you've read the book. And I heard that if you did not read the book, you will find it confusing.

Austin Powers is more like a spoof of the James Bond franchise. Though it is funny, its jokes become stale with age.

I've been a big harry potter fan since high school when the book first came out. I read all the books. I guess di kaayo nimo ma-enjoy ang movie if you've not read the books. Pero I tell you, grabe ka mind-blowing ang mga events sa final story -- nga i-split into two movies. It's worth checking out. and if you want to understand the whole story, read the books or watch the movie from the beginning.

So far ang pinaka-nindot na harry potter movie for me is the THIRD: The Prisoner of Azkaban. This is the movie that really captured the magic of the story. The first two are cute but in the third, the story went dark, and was very well made with Alfonso Cuaron directing. Superb. The next two (4 and 5) were OK.

Kabasa ko sa The Notebook and I thought the movie is overrated. Ambot di kaayo ko ganahan kay maglagot gyud ko sa direction sa mga salida ni Nick Cassavetes. The story was something special nya tagaan lang niyag film/cinematography na pina-TV movie. I thought it was a waste of talent for both Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams.

Kung Fu Panda lang? You should also try to check out the following animations:
    WALL.E
    RATATOUILLE
    FINDING NEMO
    THE INCREDIBLES
The best of all animes are actually coming from Studio Ghibli of Japan (especially ones directed by Hayao Miyazaki). Have you heard of SPIRITED AWAY, PRINCESS MONONOKE, and HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE? If not, check them out also. I consider these three movies my top 3 best animated movies.

So, here's my list of popular movies I have not seen and only a few I'm looking forward to watching:
*** and the city the movie
    Casino royale
    Troy
    Dances with wolves
    Who framed roger rabbit
Close encounters of the third kind
    Bad boys 1 and 2
    Eragon
    8 mile
    Face/off
    Jumper

@BertR I guess everyone knows that The Sixth Sense, Batman Begins, and The Da Vinci Code are not trilogies. That's why I indicated "trilogy" if it is so.

Anyway thanx for the info. I think I'll give Batman Begins a chance kay nindot man jud ang Dark Knight bisan wala ko kita sa first movie makasabot gihapon ko with the help of my bf hehehe I just ask kung asa ko wala kasabot.

Sa Harry Potter akong ganahan nga story kay ang third book pero disappointed ko sa movie. It didn't meet my expectations.

Sa animated films I agree nindot ang The Incredibles (one of my favorites) and Ratatouille.
