Macpup Dingo is a customization of Puppy Linux 4.0 that looks like a Macintosh desktop. Macpup Dingo | Puppy Linux

Positive:

1. Since the entire OS is loaded into the RAM, it is very fast-no waiting time (almost) for apps to open.
2. Can be installed in 5 minutes to USB flash drive, full hard drive install, frugal install or ran from Live CD.
3. Low system requirement. I've tried this on P3 with 200+MB of RAM (256 MB SDRAM nga daoton) and it still is fast.
4. A complete OS. Naa na siya'y word processor (Abiword), spreadsheet (gnumeric), browser (Dillo and Seamonkey), Xsane image scanner ug daghan pang mga apps.

Negative:
1. For newbies, might be difficult to tweak to your own liking tungod kay ang Window Manager (IceWM) ra ma'y gigamit (mao pod nga paspas siya).
2. I don't like the docker (Wbar). Dili siya customizable and adding applications involve changing a text configuration file.
3. Pnethood doesn't work for me. Mao ni siya gamiton pag connect sa Samba shares (network). I'm sure this can be made to work, kinahanglan lang ug gamay nga time ug kakugi.
4. If you are a Windows user, you might be bewildered at the way things are done so differently with Linux Puppy and its derivatives (Like Macpup).
5. Dili pod ka ka - install ug Compiz - Fusion.

If you have a more recent, more powerful PC, try WNOP or Tigerpup. It is another Linux Puppy derivative that uses XFCE desktop environment with Compiz-Fusion enabled. It is running on my old AMD Athlon 1700 XP machine with 512 MB DRAM and 128MB Radeon 9250 Vcard. Very fast and good looking pup.
