    Default Networking Problem: Wifi,PortForwarding,DDNS...others

    Guys,Patambag ko sa akong blima beh. Papa Joe get out kay di ka maka relate ani.lolz

    1. Wifi
    Naa ko Toshiba satellite M55.XP SP2. Bag.o ni gi-ilisdan ug harddisk so im not sure if relevant ba ni nga info but anyways. limited or no connectivity and error
    set-up:

    Globe Inet->modem(PPPoE)->wrt54g(DHCP)-> wireless connection to laptop
    Globe Inet->modem->laptop(wired) naa man connection.

    Naa man connection the last time i tried but on another laptop. So im not sure if config ba sa Router or and laptop nai prob and need some patches. So can you guys suggest some things to try nako?

    Ive tried:
    repair sa wireless connection
    laptop wireless switch is ON.im sure
    Winsox..-padung pa try

    2. Port Forwarding
    I know its not possible to have 2 similar port to be used on 2 different PC. so any idea how i can go about it? services i need are http,mysql,vnc ... then 2 pc ni cya connected to wrt54g router

    3. Kinsa familiar ninyo ug Dyndns? sa Host IP, what ip should i put in kay lahi man gud ang IP detected by the DYNDNS website (murag nai link nga AUTO detect IP) ug sa WRT54G router page under sa DDNS nga tab..

    sa auto detect nga link kay 222.xxx.xxx.xxx then sa router kay 192.168.254.2... libog ko..

    4. VPN
    How do you avoid the popup from appearing everytime you loose connection. even if you click the redial when drop and do not show connecting, still it will pop up the error " cannot connect to server"

    connected ang imong laptop sa access point? if connected, check ang wireless adapter settings, see if ang imong connection has the right settings, IP, and gateway...

    sa port forwarding, wala kaayo ko ka gets sa imong gusto mahitabo, as far as i know, di ba mag specify man ka ug external port? den i specify pud nimo ang internal ip ug ang port?

    e.g.

    i have 2 pc, one is windows, one is bsd, both PC listens on port 80 for web server, what i did with my router is i configured its external port 80 to redirect all traffic to my windows box, and all port 81 traffic to my bsd box

    EXTERNAL PORT ---> INTERNAL PORT ---> IP ADDRESS
    80 ---> 80 ---> 192.168.1.100 (my windows web service)
    81 ---> 80 ---> 192.168.1.200 (my bsd web service)

    DYDNS:
    i have dyndns enabled on my router, (dyndns.org)
    i just provide 3 things, username, password, and the hostname that i created in the website to be updated with my current IP.

    VPN, unsa nga VPN? Windows VPN?

    @3. bai sa dynamic DNS, ang main function niya is to update ang imo hostname to the current public IP that you are currently using.. This is useful if you are trying to host a website in a dynamic IP internet connection set up. Kani IP na 222.XXX.xxx.xxx is the public IP nimo. Diha sa imo giingon na "host ip" try to put the host name (depende kung what imo gpili na hostname, I presume na register naka ug host name sa ila website).. check lang bacn nalipat ka kay it should be host name ang imo define diha para ma bind sya sa imo current public IP.

    @4. kani pop up na imo g mean, i dont think so relatd ni VPN not unless nagamit jud ka VPN.. pero there are some instance bai na naay virus that cause the dialer to auto connect (mga dialers)... explore lang gamay and give your system a thorough virus scan.

    Pwede sad ing-ani:

    Code:
            +-----------------------+
            | Router with Public IP |
            +-----------+-----------+
                        |
       +----------------+----------------+
       | Reverse Proxy with Virtual Host |
       | (e.g., nginx/lighttpd)          |
       +----+------+------+--------------+
            |      |      +-----------------------+
            |      +------------+                 |
            |                   |                 |
       +----+---------+  +------+-------+ +-------+------+
       | Web Server 1 |  | Web Server 2 | | Web Server 3 |
       +--------------+  +--------------+ +--------------+
