Mga hardware parts are usually made in china....seldom nalang ko ka kita ug made in TAIWAN kay mas better pa..kay I have my old PC here mga year 2001/2002 pa socket A and Asus mobo sus payter kaayo gihapon mo dagan pag PC400 DDR...karon ang gi ilisan ug bnew casing look as new pa...mao maglisod nata ka kita ug durable and quality computers karon in my own opinion.

heat is your enemy. if you keep your system cool, they'll last longer.

ang pinaka worse is handling sa parts
all pc stores here don't seem to practice proper handling of parts
degradation of parts starts the moment they open it and put some stickers on them without even grounding themselves first before touching it
havn't even seen one using anti-static wrist straps
wala sila pakialam sa ESD (electro static discharge)

I would say ni improve ang overall quality sa parts especially with competition.

Notorious man to ang Socket A for mishandling by inexperienced users who might crush the cpu core and burn the cpu when the heatsink is not seated properly.

Naa nay things like cpu thermal protection, more user friendly overclock controls.

CPU's after the P4 era are focusing more on efficiency of performance/watt.. lower TDP results in less heat and less cooling requirements.

Ang videocards nasad ang nagpabadlong... and I fear Nvidia is heading in the direction Intel went with P4... hopefully they follow the trend sa CPU's also.

With regards to motherboards, competition and Tier based pricing allows users to get a better idea of the quality of their components.. whether u want an Asus or an Asrock.. depends on what u want... premium performance with overclocking or basic inexpensive computing.... naa ang choice sa consumer.

With regards to quality sa components... again.. competition keeps theses companies on their toes. If you have a bad product.. user reviews are gonna bash you and consumers can always buy the other brands... that's why quality and reliability is integral for these companies to survive.

    you get your money's worth...

SAUNA and pc require ra ug 250 watts power supply...

karon that is not possible... the higher the power requirement the more quality parts you need......

Much of this can be attributed to the power requirements of videocards.

For computers with integrated videocards.. a 250W PSU is still capable.
