wala diay na gi.discuss and DFD sa inyong subjects? hmm....ngano nakakuha man ka ug thesis kung wala pa ka nahuman sa pre-requisites.

sa akong ma.remember sa DFD, correct me if I'm wrong

process or a system is represented by a CIRCLE, entities are represented by rectangle and line/arrows are represented by data flows.

along with DFD, ERD is also important to determine the relationship of your entities/objects.

    TIP:

In creating DFD of a system, it's always a good idea to identify the whole process as one big circle along with the entities that interact with it. After you have done this, break done this big process into smaller subprocess and so on and so forth.

    hope this helps.

    thanks bro....

wala na ma discuss ug usab sa among teacher kay ga assume na man lang pod siya kay naa na man mi baby thesis before.....
ang ako lang kung unsa ang mga proper and correct way of making a DFD.....
    say for example...

Resident would like to apply/request for a Barangay Document....

Resident will go to the Barangay Secretary and request for Barangay Clearance then Barangay Secretary will issue a notice payment for the required payable amount for such clearance... then Resident will go to the Brgy Treasurer for payment... Brgy Treasurer will then issue O.R. and forward it to Brgy. Secretary... Brgy Secretary will then Interviews the Resident and then Prepares(Encode+Print) document and will ask the Resident to sign the paper before the Brgy Secretary will forward it to the Brgy Captain for approval.. The approved document will then be released to the Resident + the Official Receipt...

my problem is how to make the said statements using the Data Flow Diagram...

bro... if makatabang mo nako ug buhat ug sample na DFD based on my example.. dako na kaayo na ug tabang... i'll analyze ur example and use it as reference.... thanks daan mga bro....

    bump for the thread starter.

Lisud kaayo kung i.type lng ngari ang solution sa imong explanation. Willing ko mo.share sa akong knowledge about ani, but you have to learn it yourself.

Try browsing System Analysis and Design books sa inyong Library, it would really help.

    Default bro...

im willing to learn.. i already read some books but my problem is whats really the proper way of making the ff:

    1. Context Diagram (What processes should be put in here?)
    2. DFD (How to make a LOGICAL DFD?)
    The correct data flow
    a. Entity-Process-Entity
    b. Entity-Process-DataStore

bro... i jst need the proper procedure... i'll do the rest... pls pls pls..... (=))
