How to know if naka static or dynamic IP?

How will we know man if naka static or dynamic iya ip address sa isa computer sa d same network?..
ex. ma ping nimo iya ip address but how will u know nga static to siya or dynamic?
what software will we use?
or madala rana sa command prompt?..what command?.

Tan awa lang sa PC bro kun naka obatain automatically siya mao nay dynamic pero kun gi assignan gyud nimo mao nay static.

i mean, if naa raka sa imong pc ba, niya sa other station/pc nga same network gusto ka maka balo if naka static ba iya ip or dynamic..

u want to know if naka static ba or dynamic siya sa LAN using ur pc lang..

usually ang static ug dynamic ip, murag sa ISP side na..kung both of you connected to a same router, most probably you will acquire the ip assign by the router..ang router na mismo ang magacquire ng static or dynamic ip..kung within the same network ramo, pareho ra mo ug connection palabas sa internet..

What ISP are you using and what package?
PLDT offer static IP only with biz packages, and Globe charge extra for a static IP.
So, if you dont have a PLDT biz package, or pay extra for Globe, I guess you have a dynamic IP.

bro click start menu the run...type cmd...
dos prompt appears...from there type arp -a
your ip address will appear with its type

OP, your question lies on your own network diba? if sa network side gani, i-check sa ang the following:

1st: open My Network Places
2: i-click ang View Network Connections sa left side sa window
3: i-open ang local area connection na gigamit nimo. commonly Local Area Connection na siya nga connected.
4: go to support tab
5: tan-awa ang address type. if manually configured gani, static ang ip nimo sa network nimo. if automatic gani or some sort, dynamic na.

pero if sa WWW gani then ang pangutana nimo kay kana, go to What's My IP Address? Your IP is 216.34.250.1 and see your ip. i-restart ang router or i-on then off ang router nimo. then i-open nasad ang whatsmyip.org. if mao ra gani gihapon ang ip nimo before nimo gi-restart ang router, static na. if nausab gani ang ip nimo, dynamic na. this doesnt work most of the time because even if you restart your router and dynamic ang ip nimo, your isp will give the same ip still even after reboot sa router nimo.

but the best way to know if your ip is static or dynamic sa WWW, ask your ISP

ic, thanks kaayo ninyo tanan.. pero ako jud unta gusto mahibaloan is if naa raka sa imong pc. niya u want to know sa imong ka workstation pud nga naka static or dynamic ba siya.. dili naka angay mo adto pa sa iyang pc niya adto ka sa LAN properties to see if naka staic or dynamic siya.

naa mi windows 2000 server , dhcp server pud na namo.

in a LAN, naa man gud uban user nga ilang i static ilang pc, so gusto nako ma trace kung kinsa to nag static ip nga dili naka mo adto pa jud sa ilang pc para makabalo ka, kay makabalo niya sila..thanks
