what are you looking for a phone specifically? N-gage is basically for games, is that's what you want. if i may suggest phones for specific uses:
style/crowd pleaser: razr v3
PDA functionality: go for O2 or p910i would do
music: k750i flashed with w800 firmware
camera: N90
serious modding fun: e398
mother's fave: 8210 (hehe)

nice na bai if you are a game fan and would welcome a phone function too. ang nakabati lang sa n-gage dili kaau daghan ang games available diri then mahal pud ang cartridge. Peroif memory serves me, naay store sa Emall na mu load og games sa imong phone even sa dili n gage.

if i were you, get the original ngage, not the qd.

features: aside from the lack of fm radio, the qd doesn't have an in-built mp3 player... and if you do install 1, the audio output is mono, and it's a dual band phone. the original n-gage has stereo mp3 and fm radio, plus it's tri-band.

physical difference: the qd is thicker but more narrow and it has hotswap (you dont have to open the phone to change the mmc), the orig is thinner but a bit wider and doesn't have hotswap. though, hotswap isn't much of a big deal if you get yourself a 1 gig mmc and fill it up with as games, mp3's, and videos! you'll never get bored! besides, the qd looks like a toy.

screen: the qd has a brighter screen compared to the original n-gage, both have 4096 color display

calling: with the original n-gage, you call like this D (side-talk) with the qd, you call like this | (i hope you get what i mean, it's a measly illustration)

and that's basically it.

all in all, as an n-gage user, the phone is definitely worth the money i spent for it...
mp3 player, smartphone, gaming device, movies... never a dull moment!

you can downloads lots of free stuff to personalize it too since it's symbian... and by the way, the store at e-mall that sells n-gage games at a very affordable price is GIZMO.
