About DJ NICKY JURADO:

Backed-up with more than 20 years of Deejay experience and trademarked with harder genres of dance music, he is probably the only DJ that didn’t compromise and eventually infused a cult following and was tagged locally as “The King of Hard House”.

Now, after a 3-year hiatus from the scene, Nicky Jurado is back! Back with a new sound and a whole new attitude and vibrant energy.

He has opened or closed for superstar DJs like Armand Van Helden, Deep Dish, Hippie Torales, Goldie, Simon Blackjack, Dave Lee, Steve Lawler, Ferry Corsten and many others. Nicky has also made a mark in the F1 circuit. Twice for Team Ferrari. Both were marathon sets for the pre-race party at Club Emporium, Malaysia.

Partners with Robert Villaluz and Manolet Dario in that elite circle of DJs that was known as the “Brady Bunch”-- who and which where partly responsible for the house music evolution through their string of warehouse parties from 1994 to 1997. In 1997-1999, the three, formed “Decadance” which is now “NBK”. Nicky was also a co-owner and resident DJ of “Insomnia” in Malate from 1993-2001. Part owner and Head resident DJ of the infamous “seveneightorange” from 1999-2002, that in 2003, was transformed into the equally controversial, “Olive”. Where he was also part owner and head DJ.

You’ll know it’s Nicky J’s set when everyone is in high spirits. He’s always got the crowd by the palms of his hands. He loves the music that he plays. If not the only one, he is one of the few that shares that passion. He inspires and is inspired by others. He always says… “Remember, there should always be room for you to grow, learn and improve. You’re only as good as your last set. Be brave and love what you play.
