Default Ten Commandments for a Responsible Pit Owner

    1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any seperation from you will be painfull

    2. Give me time to understand what you want of me

    3.Place your trust in me

    4. Dont be angry with me for long, and dont lock me up as punishment. You have your work, your friends and your entertainment. I ONLY HAVE YOU

    5. Talk to me. Even if I dont understand your words. I understand your voice when its speaking to me.

    6. Be aware that however you treat me, I'll NEVER forget it.

    7. Before you hit me, remember that I have teeth that could easily crush the bones in your hand, but I choose not to.

    8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me, Perhaps Im not getting the right food, Ive been out in the sun too long, or my heart may be getting old and weak.

    9. Take care of me when I get old. You too, will gow old.

    10. Go with me on difficult journeys. Never say, I cant bear to watch it or, Let it happen in my absence. Everything is easier for ME if you are there. Remember , I Love You.

sakto jud ni...learned my lesson with my pit...
i almost asked my vet to euthanize her, she was really skin and bones after getting hit by Parvo, 4 days siya wala kaon, then suka kalibang pa jud ug dugo, di niya halos mahurot ang tambal ug inom and I really thought she was gonna die, I was suffering too, bisag di siya mukaon everytime I go out to see her she still wags her tail despite being almost out of strength...good thing I was able to hang on during the next 5 days and she did recover, right now, siya pinakalambing nko nga iro, she's the only dog I have that doesn't need a leash when I walk during early mornings and afternoons ky she just walks beside me all the time...
    mga pit owners be responsible!
BOOOO to those who train their pitbulls for fighting! Hope you get karma!
