Online Payment problem with TAX?
problem with tax computation or tax people?
kung gamay ra ok ra na sa beginning but i suggest to eventually register because sooner or later masakpan ra gihapon ka unta
sample scenario would be an honest customer(s) of yours, nga wala kay control, declared his actual purchases nya wa nimo gdeclare as sales nimo, so near gyud ang possibility nga sakpan ka.
so register for peace of mind and call bizaid when you or your friend decides to
good luck!
i think with online payments your concern are the fees associated with it.
she just makes sure that her customers are not claiming the payment they gave her in their business expenses... one way of knowing this is whether a customer asks for a receipt...
but i guess she should register, because now-a-days BIR is having a rampant tax mapping for small businesses.
the question is if do you need to register for an office? (like you want to hire employees, establish a name, credit line etc.)
if it's cyber, the govt institutions dont have the mechanism to tax map them yet
you maybe right for now... but don't underestimate BIR...
have you gone to bir lately, most of their report submission are thru on-line na and payment thru efps...
once list of purchases for a particular establishment will be matched with the sales of other establishment, it will be found out.. especially if there are purchases and nothing to be matched since the seller is not registered...
matching is statistics and not absolute. it is only used against vat specifically the claiming of input vat. unless the seller's expected annual gross income exceeds 1.5M, he/she is not required to pay VAT. hence, no matching can take place
matching is not practiced against the claim of expenses as allowable deduction for the payment of income tax. such would be too time consuming and impractical
besides, if you are not registered, you have no TIN, therefore you have no record and if you have no record, how can the BIR locate you?
