im wondering what you guyz think...

is it safe/ok to leave aircon switch on all the time...
i know new cars are digital climate control so i assume its all automated and safe, but what bout older cars?

i also remember someone mention that aircon should only be turned on after the engine has warmed up... is there any truth to this statement?

is it even necessary to warm up the engine before driving (how many mins/sec should one wait?)

Kung mag andar ang aircon, naka engage ang compressor sa engine, that means naay addtional load ang engine.
At cold start (usually early morning where the engine is not running overnight), wala na ma circulate ug maayo ang engine oil and the engine is not at its normal operating temperature yet, so it is usually recommended not to apply a load yet at this point. Kindly consult your car manual for the recommended warm up time before applying load to the engine. Usually a minute or two you can feel nga init na dayon ang engine but not yet at its normal operating temperature.

It's ok na andar ra permi ang aircon while driving but mas nice kung ang imong thermostat naa ra sa 1/3 setting (considering kaya ra niya magpabugnaw) aron dali ra mo switch off ang aircon, dili kalas fuel.

i'd say warm it up first...on the contrary don't sleep inside a car with ACU on..its a health or even fatal hazard..

this is true if your in a garage or in a closed area...this is deadly because carbon monoxide which is found in the exhaust of cars will be absorb by your AC especially if you are in closed area...thus depriving your body of oxygen and will cause intoxication which leads to brain death in a matter of minutes... simply, it could kill you..
