i have a compaq presario c700 series notebook and i wanted to upgrade its graphics card since i mainly use the laptop to edit pics using photoshop and do models using 3d studiomax. as of the moment, my laptop has an intel graphics media accelerator x3100.

any computer gurus out there that can help me with my inquiry?

kuan noh.. kanang integrated? my american friend told me to buy bigger RAM for my lappie para mu arangan ang grafx.. ingon siya hap.. hehe.. pareha rman tag grafx card...

i use my lappie for photoshop also but with 2 gig ram okay naman siya.. or maybe naa pay mas nindot.. ambot lang.. hehehe..

lisod man daw na if imo pa palitan ug grafx card ang laptop.. hmm... btaw noh....

paliti nlng na 4gig RAM.. graveh.. pas2x nana..hehe

yup. nag install naku ug 2 gig ram. ok ra cya sa photoshop pero kamang jud sa studio max. i hope ma ilisan pa ang graphics card ani. been looking for reviews pero wala man koy nakitan.

dili nmo basta2x mailisan ang graphics ana, and i dont think naay shop dri na mu-ilis og gpu sa laptop.

i dont think you can change the graphics chip for your laptop. its soldered down on the main circuit board

dli inana kadali mag change ug 3d card sa laptop. and i doubt naaa na dri sa cebu. kay kng naa ako na ni gpa 88 akong 74 na nvidia sako vaio.

e set ug higher shared memory imo graphics basin pa then try the latest driver....so far the gma x3100 is very good IGP. also use vista para ma dx10 na imo card.
