ceremony at bradford united church of christ, inc.
reception at grand convention.

post lang unya diri your portfolio so we can select
pero kung naa pa ko vacant slots, will inform you guys.

of course i'll be getting an official photographer para sigurado.
ayaw lang ninyo sawaya kay limited baya ako budget.

ang sa inyoha lang is the experience of shooting a wedding ceremony & reception.
and of course a full stomach. hehe

well this is one way to learn being a professional photographer.

of course you have to observe discretion when doing shoots so as not to disturb solemnity of the ceremony.

kani sa ako pa lang ni ha.. will talk with pa with my fiancee if she's agreeable to this.

hehe... im just opening this up to see if there are photographers interested

this is a unique idea bro. pero, i dont think, your official photographer would be comfortable with it. try to talk to him first, if he's ok with it.

in my opinion ba, if im your photographer, dili jud ko mo sugot bro. i hate to use the word, pero i would feel insulted.

it doesnt apply on his wedding bro kay Bradford man iya wedding. the pass only applies to catholic churches/parishes.

my take on this one.

as a newbie photographer, i won't get any benefits from this -- i'm on the losing end.

i have to pay for taxi to go to his place or wherever just to meet them(couple).

i have to spend cellphone load just to call them or even text them.

i might offend the official photographer leaving a bad taste on his mouth.

etc..


if i want to learn wedding photography, i would rather approached a wedding photographer to be his assistant(tigbitbit battery, bags, lighstands ..etc) and from there i might learn something from the pro i wish to emulate.

if i'm couple's friend.. definitely i will bring my camera if i'm invited .. and shoots few frames for them.


that's my half-kilo NFA rice takes on this subject.

Sa ako lang ni experience ha as a photographer who covers weddings. I do not like other photographers getting in my way during a shoot. Ma relatives, ambush (speculators), or other wannabees na mag shoot2x.

I miss a lot of shots because of these people.

1. Mostly mupa atubangan ni sila kay gagmay ra og zoom ila lens, so ako na gusto mu kuha og candid memory shots ma sacrifice...

2. Usahay ako pa ang pa isbogon... ako man unta official dili man unta sila..

3. Confusing to the guests kung kinsa gyud ang official so maglikay ang guests abi pabayaron sila...

4. Ma daot ang coordination sa Photo or Video Team na nagcover officially kya ma gubot.


You should have more trust in the person na imo gibayaran to take the official lead in covering your event. I hope you got them not because of their low price but because of their capability.


I know with good intention ni imo but dont sacrifice your wedding for it. A good wedding photographer knows who to shoot... Father, Mother, Lola Siblings and the Celebrants but kung naa mu enter lang kalit magpataka lang na or too concentrated sa Celebrants... kamo ang ma sacrifice ani while busog ang imo gipang invite na Photogs.
