hello all..would like to share with you about the Sapporo Snow Festival. Sapporo is north of Japan and they have this really cool (cold sad!) festival every February. Kanang ice carvings gani nga kit-an nato usahay sa wedding receptions...nag kayamukat lang na didto ...as in naa sa dalan morag maoy gihimong "island" to divide the street ...and then sa park you can see gigantic ice sculptures...very intricate and the attention to details was superb...hundreds of them...all made from snow. It was an experience sad jud...below i am sharing a picture of the Taj Mahal of India that they carved out from snow. To fellow istoryans in Japan...try to go if you can...it's worth the trip!
