I dont know if there is hope for Filipinos sa future. What bout you guys?...
It's only as good as WE would make it. The first step is to believe that there's hope and work towards it.
It's only as bad as WE would allow it. The first step is to say there is no hope.

the situation ni our country is hopeless. maninguha nalang ta og ato. dili ta magsalig sa gobyerno
The country's situation might be bad...but I'll assure that my future and the future of my family will be good.......not to the expense of other's human rights of course....basta wala lay ma tamakan nga uban...unya malipayon ang atoang mga pamilya...unsa pa may imong pangayoon?
Remember that the family is the basic unit of the society...make your family a happy family and you will surely contribute to the well being of the society your family is in...sakto ba ko? Dili nalang ta mangambisyon ug dinagko gud....
maybe its time to control our population. i consider it one of the biggest hindrance to progress. i have a really bad situation in our place where 6 families is occupying a small house. i dont want to imagine their future because im really worried about them and the sad thing is their eldest grandson is getting married with no job and no property. i cant imagine what will happen to this country for the next 20 years if population is not controlled. I can remember when i was still a kid, we used to fly kites. There were still many unoccupied land in our place. in less than 20 years, all of those land were already occupied, no more place for kite flying. what more for the next 20 years.
duha ka solution siguro ang angay buhaton...population control and job creation jud....dapat mag abot ning duha in a point nga 1:1 na ang population is to job ratio, ideal nuon pero basta mo approach lang gud ug 1:1 is ok naman siguro na...
job creation gyud guro ang importante. kay kung naa kay trabaho, kapuyon naman ka ug himo ug baby ing ka gabii. ug kung maghimo man gani, naa man pud kay ikapalit ug durex. kung di gyud mada, naa man pud kay ikabuhi sa imong anak kay naa man kay trabaho. di ba?
UNITY is the best way to acquire richness in the future!!!
but if misunderstanding misleads this country!! no future at all!!!

Gov’t economic team off to Singapore
Roadshow on RP investment climate
Senior members of the government’s economic team and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Deputy Governor Nestor A. Espenilla Jr. left for Singapore yesterday to promote the country’s improving economic climate and investment opportunities in the mining, banking, business process outsourcing, infrastructure, energy and power sectors.
"Last year’s steady progress in the economic reform program has bolstered investor confidence in the Philippines, as evidenced by a revitalized stock market, the strongest peso in three years, credit rating agencies’ upgraded outlooks on the country’s sovereign rating and recent positive assessments from Goldman Sachs and other major investment houses,’’ said Rene Pizarro, executive director of the national government’s Investor Relations Office (IRO).
According to Pizarro, Finance Secretary Gary B. Teves and Trade and Industry Secretary Peter B. Favila will meet with government officials, investors and the financial community in Singapore to describe the Philippines’ economic progress in 2005, as well as its plans to further reduce the fiscal deficit, stimulate economic growth and encourage investment in priority sectors.
Espenilla will brief investors on the outlook of the Philippines’ monetary policy, external position and banking sector.
"The Government’s economic reform program has strengthened the economy and created an encouraging environment for international investors,’’ Pizarro said. "There are tremendous opportunities for growth, particularly in the priority sectors we’ve identified.’’
The government remains on track with its fiscal targets, achieving a deficit of R15.4 billion in January, R5.5 billion better than program. Revenue collections reached R72.6 billion in January, higher than the programmed collection of R69.9 billion and 13 percent higher from last year.
Collections of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and the Bureau of Customs (BoC) registered 18% and 23% growth respectively from the same period last year. The Bureau of Treasury also exceeded its target by R1.5 billion.
"In addition to strengthening macroeconomic fundamentals, the government is committed to streamlining administrative procedures and ensuring that investments made in the Philippines are characterized by efficiency and value,’’ Pizarro said, citing the shortening of processing time to 24 hours for Board of Investments applications as an example.
Pizarro said the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas would also outline its achievements in 2005, highlighted by a Balance of Payments surplus of US.4 billion, and its plans to continue financial sector reforms in support of banking sector stability and capital market development.
With this kind of News, we need not have to ask if our country has a good future... Let's be all Positive! Ayt?!!!!!![]()
