need courier services

i have a package somewhere in europe (France to be exact) but my friend there says he can't trust the postman... the package is a sufboard (shortboard) about 7 ft in length...

i hear Fed Ex or the UPS is a bit expensive... and i dont have any idea how much my package will cost.

can anybody recomend a reliable local courier service with counterparts in europe?.. just pieces of info will do, i'll be the one to connect all those and come up a solution... pinoy lagi wa may wawart mao ngitag barato.

my mother bought antiques in prague she had it shipped to our house. but its a 1 month wait actually 3 months because they shipped it to australia...but no problem it arrived intact no breaks whatsoever.... like balikbayan service... no customs charges whatsoever.... hehhehehe

declare it as personal items.....

with regards to my mom's antique

she had it crated....

so you can request for packaging

i dont like the local couriers if there is damage they will try to avoid you

can you give me the details (dimension and cost of shipment) of your moms package?
it's important for me coz im planning to pay the package soon as it arrives... like a consignment... so i may know the budget.. otherwise i will just have to purchase it here (locally) if the cost of the shipment is high.

ask sa mo ug mga fourwarders kung pila gyud ang mabayran, kay kung e declare na ug personal effects pwede ra pero mangita mo ug mga consolidators.. mahal gyud na kay imported naman plus buyad customs duties.. bahin sa gi ingon sa usa ka bro nga wala sila nabayran sa customs, actualy duna na apan gi apil nalang na sa charges na courier...... as ilang services......
