amd ghz and intel are not comparable for the reason of its structural design.. a 1.5ghz amd can be compared to a 2.4ghz or probably a 2.6ghz intel.
its like comparing a 3000rpm 90mm fan and 3000rpm 500mm fan. both are 3000. gets?

AMD for gaming - "Feel The Power"
Intel for Design and Development like Photoshop, Corel, SQL, 3Dmax and so on.. but that doesnt mean you cant play games with them.

there are two options you have when buying. either a single core or a dual core. for gaming dual cores are not yet ready for this since game developers coded/program games for a single core, meaning 1 thread ra gigamit even when your using dual core.. for some games it has advantage and disadvantage pero in the future mga Q4 of 2006. around 70~80% of developers will make their programs/appz/games multi-threaded.. for now naa naman gi release patches for games to run well on multi-threaded or dual core processor.. so this would be a good buy. but for some reason both amd and intel will be releasing Quad Core on 2007 but not earlier. :mrgreen:

X2 3800+ @ 2.0ghz

- there is totally no difference on both system since most game currently uses only 1 core, meaning there is no noticable difference based on performance when gaming, but a huge difference when multi tasking.. but when they release a patch for this game to run on Multi core. then the X2 will outperform the 3200+. so if your a hardcore gamer. its is reccomended to stay with single cores for now.. kung slight gamer ka then a dual core..

depends.. sa una AMD but now. if your thinking of Dual Cores then barato ang intel but performance maayo ang AMD for Multi tasking and Gaming(soon for gaming).

yup nittor is right... new AMD chips generates lesser heat than of INTEL.. intel's prescott is hot!

for me YUP.... the only time i had a problem is compatibility between the VCARD and the motherboard.
