check lang sa intel support site bro if naa ba update sa bios ana.
i think 1.1 ra ang capability sa usb ports ana bro, coz ive tested that board also, even on xp, i still operates on 1.1

nakadownload nko ug bios update pro di lng ko kbaw unsaon. ilang instructions mrag broad ra kau. sensya na d man gud kau ko kbaw update2x.hehe

if there is no problem with the current bios you have then better not to update it because one mistake during bios update will render your mobo unusable.
try checking your mobo manual for your USB port. if it is 2.0 then all you have to do is install win xp 2.0 or higher to have it running at 2.0 but if your hardware itself is only capable with 1.1 then no amount of software can change that.

Boss sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but updating the bios won't help. Since according to this: http://support.intel.com/support/mot.../cs-008815.htm, your board only has USB 1.1 ports as its "USB Technology."

Your only option is a USB PCI Expansion card.

yeah better buy a PCI expansion card..

thats the only choice.

but be cautious sometimes if ur mobo is usb 1.1 when u installed the usb pci expansion card

ma 1.1 japon iya version..

but i guess 1.1 is not that bad when copying files.. but when it comes to larger size files.. maybe there it will take a long time to copy.
