probably yes or not. i just think their trying to dispose as many DX9 GPU's asap since DX10 Cards will be launched with windows vista.. so my oppinion is its totally marketing..

yes i bumped into that article too.. but for gamers megagames and gamespot has also announced future games (to be released with vista) will be implemented for windows vista only. sorry i couldnt find the article on gamespot anymore. but as far as i understand DX9 will be totally compatible for vista. but for DX10 games, our DX9 GPU's like 6600~7800 will totally be like the FX5200. maybe im wrong since its too early to tell.. but hopefully we could keep our high-end cards for another couple of years.. i sense thesame thing like what they told us with windows xp. the geforce 64bit will be totally compatible with windowsxp. but wala ray happy gaming.

also XBOX games being implemented for VISTA.

here's some pic of vista's games: (which i doubt a single 7800 can handle. )

also one of our favorite games.. Flight simulator X for Vista (look at that amazing graphics.. tambal sa mata pabuslot sa bulsa. )

maybe just a few features to be implemented for DX10 Cards.. probably they will also be implementing a more advance cinefx engine for DX10 GPU's for more realistic gaming, also i have read some article regarding DX10 Gpu's having Quad Ramdac giving greater more powerfull bandwith unlike DX9 specifically compared to the 7800series that already have dual ramdac..

according to this article regarding DX10, the GPU state is managed by the OS, not the driver. ...

here are another updates on DX10 Engine.. lingaw kau ko tanaw dah. dili naka maganahan pa ug xbox360 and ps3.

Pirte pang dugaya ani DX 10 it will be realeased after VIsta and we would have to wait for the new graphic cards.

DX 10 games can still play dx 9 cards anyways. like dx 8 cards can play dx 9s.
