Working PHP offline?!... Any idea guys?!... huhuhu!

What softwares will I install in order PHP files to run offline from a browser.

- I really wanted to learn PHP but I thought it's just like creating a CSS, but I was wrong... It takes a lot of steps pa diay to set up a PHP stuffs in a computer but I have no idea kung unsaon... Please help mga masters...

Download and install apache http server
Download and install PHP 5.x.

Wamp server will install apache, php and mysql.

If I am not mistaken, you should be able to get it here: http://www.wampserver.com/en/index.php

yep that's the one.. I tried setting up apache, php, and mysql manually, i got lost and messed up a lot of things..
then I found out about WAMP and i've installed everything with a few clicks.

Yes, makes it quiet easy... but I myself prefer the "hard" way... by manually installing and configuring all... hehe... worked all the time for me.
This way, I can ensure having the latest releases of apache, php and mysql, because I don't know how fast they update the wamp package.

Masters, when I tried setting up the wamp, I encountered many problems such as, MySQL console cannot be opened, PHP.ini has a lot of blank values but the Apache works out fine but the rest of them I cannot figure out.

But when I download these programs one by one. The MySQL console works and I can even create database files through MySQL console.

The path of MySQL Directory is: "C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL v.x.x.x\"

so I installed the apache server in my machine, "C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache\"

I also installed PHP 5.2.xx and I create a an index.php page at htdocs at Apache directory, supposedly the index.php only displays Hi! via echo command.

So I checked my services to verify that mysql-nt is running, the apache server as well.

But when I type http:\\localhost on an browser's address bar.

The browser only display's blank page. No hi!

I was troubled about it masters, but I don't know if which has the error, whether php.ini or apache.ini...

Please help masters....

question lang. pede ba ko maka-program ug php while nagaprogram ug .net at the same time? i mean, diba apache man ang php, then ako nagagamit ug iis. ok lang ba na naa sila duha sa ako workstation or dili pede? wa jud koy idea.
