Halo 2 heading to the PC (with a catch)

Halo 2 is headed to the PC and there is the possibility of it being developed inhouse in Bungie rather than a 3rd party developer doing the port. The PC version will include Halo 2, the bonus maps that came in the Multiplayer Map Pack, and the ability to "build, create, and customize their own multiplayer levels.

So what's the catch.. You need Microsoft Windows Vista, MS brand new OS coming out this year.. hmph.. what a bad marketing ploy..

Now that's the headline I wanna see. Not another bloody port for a game that is more than a yr old now.

I'm actually interested in getting and Xbox now.. a friend in Manila is a total Xbox whore and he says the latency for asian servers are much better on Xbox than for PC games? Vern, dude, is there a difference? Also, he even says that the Xbox Live for 360's even better.. any input?

With Xbox Live on the 360, you get better personalization, a thing called Marketplace (which allows you to download arcade type games at a cost) & you get a better view of your stats and achievements...

The new Live really just gives you more ways to spend your money as well as more ways to show off your gaming prowress. What I really liked is the media center capabalities, but considering I could already do that with XBMC, then it's moot. The games are what you should buy it for, but I personally don't think there is a killer app for the 360 yet.
