Daytime Art Fun at Paseo
Paseo, the vortex of Cebuano lifestyle in Mabolo known to yuppies and college students for its nighttime entertainment, now offers a different summer fun during the day: art classes for kids ages nine to ninety.
The spacious activity center of Paseo located after the Paseo Night Market bazaar will be the venue for the workshop on
April 14-25, 2008. The 10-session module covers basic drawing and painting lessons but separate instruction will be given to adults and advanced students.
Newspaper artists Josua Cabrera and
Radel Paredes will facilitate the workshop. Cabrera is currently the editorial cartoonist of Sun Star Daily and Paredes is a fine arts instructor at the University of San Carlos who also served as cartoonist and illustrator in Cebu Daily News.
Workshop fee is P2500 inclusive of materials like acrylic paints, canvases, paint brushes and other materials. Limited students only so those interested are advised to come to registration at the Paseo activity center April 10 at 2:30 pm.

Paseo also houses Cebu's first Night Market which is open daily from 2 p.m. - 12 midnight. Discover great bargains and fantastic finds at the variety of bazaar stalls.
