Default Blocking P2P and torrent sites

guys need your expert advise on this....my friend who owns an icafe wants to seek opinion from me if P2P sites are healthy for his icafe business. from the way i see it, it slows down the bandwith whenever you download files causing some headaches across the entire users.

is it ok to allow users to access P2P and torrent sites such as limewire and torrentscan in the cafe? how do we block these sites to keep them from accessing these?

    TIA!

you can use net limiter but the problem is some online games doesnt work, what net limiter does is you can set the bandwidth usage each computer... i have same problem with some of my customers and you know what i did, i charge them double the normal rates.

Guys p2p is sharing,, If you take ,, you share. That's how it works. Just reduce the uploads to limits. When you block,, and try visiting again.. Your IP address can be trace and that will be the start of receiving lots of viruses,spams,pop-ups, etc. from p2p users of that site.
