Anyone familiar with this guy?.. His movies are usually about complex stories regarding a bend in the time-space continuum.
I admired DONNIE DARKO. Thought twas a well-crafted masterpiece.

I just recently saw Southland Tales, his newest movie. It's so complex I still don't know what to make of it. I still need to time to digest every bits and pieces of it.

His movies are usually beyond its time. Donnie Darko was made to be released direct to video. But years later, it became an instant cult classic. And now, Southland Tales received negative reception at Cannes Film Festival in 2006 and some say, years later people will go back as to how genius it really is.

Hope somebody's out there who knows this guy. I'd really want to talk about his movies. Let's hear your thoughts.
