if your budget is around 2.3k get the "Crossroads Mylarone X3i" in-ear monitor. this little bud is well acclaimed by the audiophiles at www.head-fi.org (click here for review). it has better bass compared to the sennheiser cx300 while retaining the sparkling mids.
