Hey everyone,
I am having trouble installing windows to one of my PCs. This is the first time this has happened to me. This is a cheapo MB ECS PT-890T-A. I have never encountered such with my EVGA, Gigabyte and ABIT boards. This is my sister's and she does not want to put in any more money for a new board. I have read somewhere that it is because of my XP installation disc does not have SP2 built into it and when windows encounters the PCI-E slot, it will go to the blue screen of death. The solution to it is slipstreaming SP2 to my original installation disc. However, here is my problem. I have Nero Express 6 and 7 and somehow I could not put the boot image onto it. Does anyone know how to do this? or can someone suggest a workaround (Except buying a new MB).
Salamat Daan.
