[color=navy]No I don't think Life is absurd as it is more misunderstood and taken for granted.

Ursula K. Le Guin, author, once wrote that Life and Death are the opposite faces of the same thing, like the palm and back of a person's hand.

How much do we really know and understand about Death? The same can be said for Life.

    yes.life is absurd.
much of our life is built on the hope for tomorrow yet tomorrow brings us closer to death and is the ultimate enemy; people live as if they didn't know about the certainty of death, as Albert Camus qouted it.

What is called a reason for living is also an excellent reason for dying by Albert Camus
Is it true or not? if it is true then life must be absurd cause the same reason could lead you to a happy life thenl lead you to suicide

    what life? what absurdity?

these are our prejudices, that there is this thing called "life" and that because of its seemingly eccentric nature, non-comforming perhaps to our psychological comfort zone we describe it as "absurd."

Sissyphus is merely a mythology while Mersault is a fiction. this is the same with candide, only born under the wits of Voltaire, no matter, both are French, one way or the other. No offense to M. Camus of course.

Roquentin was Sartre's reply to boredom while teaching at a certain lycee, Samsa was of Kafka. The Karamozovs are products of suicidal tendency, Vodka and the Russian mind.

What is Life? and what is absurditY? Are these not the literatures that brings us to a realization, out from subliminal injections, of life and absurdity? would there be an absurd life without these people? It would give us a great deal, to psychological health if we cast these books to the pyre.

what are these but fiction writing

    cheers!
