Help me out guys..

I have a pldt zyxel p-600 modem which i configure to run as router mode , default ani is naka bridge. I wanted my laptop and other 1PC to connect to the internet making it 3 overall.

modem ---> switch --> PC1 ---> PC2 --> Laptop

Im not good in networking or its logic.
My question is : Is there a difference if i will use a separate broadband router ? or same lng gihapun in terms of speed and performance with my current Setup? which is better?

naa may daghan topic ana diri bai, pili lang ka basic networking or advance nerworking imong gusto...

ako sa balay bai kay smartbro ra jud akong internet connection, nya tulo me kabook nag gamit, kay ako ge pa share sa akong silingan, so, bahin lang me, pero nag router lang ko, kadto lang gud bratohon.

Per experience, there is no difference between the choices you have presented. If you have the money to buy and the time to configure the router, then by all means buy it.

Otherwise, stick with your setup.
