does the avr need to have higher voltage than the psu? i currently have a 550w psu and a 500w avr. im also planning to buy a 750w psu. can i still use my 500w avr with that or do i need to get a higher avr?

if your pc is "heavily loaded" such that it will test the limits of your 550w psu, then i wouldn't recommend using the 500w avr. better plug it directly to your power outlet. chances are you'll keep on blowing your avr's fuse (usually 5 - 10 amps lang ni, nowhere near the current drawn by a heavily loaded system).
if you're using just half or 75% of the psu's rating, then i think its ok.
i've damaged a 1000va (600w) ups with a 750w psu. yeah, that was stupid.
ok. basta dili lang nakadungan ug gamit tanan hardware ok ra bro noh?
buy a servotype avr sa manalili..
if u can afford to have a 750w psu...1200watts servo avr is chicken for u.
range : 1200 - 2000.00
try it..it wont fail u.
i tried it before..
