more likely the AMDs onboard memory controller instead of being a separate piece on the mobo plays a big part...
hala bira....
mao gyud lol
wahhhh... is it really time to upgrade our PC? Pentium D are sooo... yummy.... I still have my p4 2.4 and I think
my CS plays are a bit laggy with my ATI 9600pro... is it really best to upgrade our PC w/ those pci express boards
or just upgradeing with new agp cards will do for now? (buying X850 XT agp)....
i think its better to wait for Windows Vista to come out and also if you are not really into multitasking, its a minor upgrade, but if you are into downloading while burning, while converting video files while playing games, dual cores are for you ahihihi, if you can get that card cheap, stay with AGP, unless you are going for SLI which is the biggest advantage for PCI Express boards...
i've read somewhere that VISTA will incorporate DirectX 10 technology..this will make current directX 9 cards obsolete
"good things comes to those who wait"
kewl... i just got $275 on the x850xt.... not cheap but not expensive also... got it from ebay...Originally Posted by darkwing

Windows Vista Release Candidate 0 (RC0) on April 19, 2006, and Windows Vista RC1 on June 28, 2006. Microsoft currently plans to release Windows Vista to manufacturing on August 9, 2006, and make the product broadly available by November 15, 2006. So we would probably expect it by December or early 2007.
