kit for dual channeling

just want to clarify, is it really recommended that you'll have a kit(2x1 ram) for you to take advantage of dual channeling, or as long as they have the same speed ok nana?coz la man au ko kit.an na kit gud dnhi..lisod pangita, although,naa sa pcx na corsair tag 1g, buy lang ko 2 ok nana?hehe

on using dual-channel kits for dual-channel memory operation, recommended, yes. but need/have to no.
why the kit is recommended is that the dimms are _guaranteed_ to have the same specs, unlike when just using 2 dimms not sold as a kit.

there are kits being sold on this forum (e.g. kingston hyper-X, crucial, ocz, gskill, etc.). just make sure you get the correct memory type.

that would give you a 50-50 chance na same sila og specs. naka palit kog kingston sa gaisano-interpace 2 x1gb ni function raman as dual-channel.

yeah 50- 50 chances..

but kingston are tricky memory sticks.....made with infenion.samsung.hynix. kingston blocks...if it is possible..have 2 sticks with same chips..CAS Latency issues..

if it does not work to speed up ur pc..but instead bog it down coz of latency issues..

bitaw bro, kit na lang para sure. mao2x na man lang pud ang price sa kit og dili. pangita lang og barato. i'm using a kit right now and i'm very pleased with it. ayaw lang ask kung pila ako palit. hehehehe...

My advise would be is to get 2 pairs of the same brand/rating ram.

As for kingston im not aware if they use a mixed batch of memory modules on their value rams, but if they do look for a different brand instead, kingston value ram isnt any better than your no name value rame since those moudels are binned for value.. they are either hynix,promos,or gaymonda ( quimonda )

for me para safe better use match dual channel kits k tested gyud na mo run sila......
hibaw na naay compatibility issue usahay maski same specs or same brand pa na sila
