Default Reminiscing K-lite 89.9 in the mid - to late 90's

kinsa tig paminawan 89.9 sauna? nindot ila song selection sauna, mostly 80's new wave jud, everyday jud na..

New Wave nga ipatukar... mayta ibalik to nila.

upat ra man ako station sauna. basta sunday NU 107 kay classic rock sunday, basta friday Y 101 kay friday gold rush og killer bee kay new wave pud basta friday, then ako fav. 89.9 everyday.

those were the best days of my life.

i used to listen to klite a lot and i even was an intern for one summer (I could play all the New Wave songs i wanted but we couldn't go on air) I really miss the old format. its a shame they've change it to jazz. the old one worked really well. they shouldn't have messed with it.

mao ni akong pinakapaborito nga station...karemember pa gani ko anang sister bowling. mura niundang na siya adtong 2000 to pursue a new career. I started listening since 1998 hangtod nagchange sila ug format.

    Amanda
    Bowling
James (pareha2x tingog ni carlo sa y101, ambot siya ba kaha ni)

ngano kha ilang gi-himong jazz and K-lite?

indeed there's nary a day nga dili ko makapaminaw og k-lite especially before molakw ko padung sa school, ganahan ko sa k-lite sauna kay ang ilang default music is new wave or at least 80's music,
i think naa to silay program nga every saturday naay i-feature nga artist/band and then ang akong napaminawan ato one time kay all about duran-duran, og puwede mo share ang mga callers about infos or trivia or anything sa featured artist/band

    - li(s/z)a gibbon's top (15 or 20 or 25 ?) sa kiss fm
-world chart show (?) sa ur 105
    -rick d's @ the weekly top 40's sa y101

gud times gyud to ato nga time

first time i heard lemonheads' it's a shame about ray is thru this station. dungan mi sa akong papa ug paminaw ani saona(since this is one of the "decent" station nga makuha sa amoa, karat pa ang NU). it bridged the gap of the old and the new. pero not to say that jazz is bad but i wish they'd return to their alt/new wave heydays.

i soooooooo love this station too, i missed the old format. new waves & 80's songs, mga rock ballads ... cool jud kaayo. pinakafavorite nako nga station ever ... and the nice thing about it also kay dili laog ug mics ang mga djs, less talk, more music stuff ... and wala sad silay mga badoy na mga songs sa ilang playlist hehehe... hahay... good times ... ibalik unta nila ang old format oi <wishful thinking>
