Why can't we do everything in Cebu, create a big budgeted recording company, acquire state of the art movie cameras and post-production equipment and officed somewhere in Talisay to expand the civilization which only ends in the circumference of the Ayala lot, promote better college degrees in Film and Multimedia, Music and Songwriting degrees, create a Cebu based music channel and name it somewhat like the, "Orient Music Channel." I am only a dreamer, what actually makes all these possible is the fighting spirit of an Investor teamed up with Cebu's finest talents both music and corporate. At a slighter twist, I dream of Cebu making exceptional quality movies, sitcoms, series'... all in the dialect of Bisaya, create the sense of Celebrity among Visayan actors and actresses made possible through Hypes like the local show "Extra Extra" and the sort. These all would create the reason why Cebu is located at the center of the Philippines, whenever something is the center, it's the point of attention. But first... we gotta clean up our streets and make carbon the best place to shop at! Thanks.

I think Cebuanos are hard to please coz they haven't learned the ability to appreciate, imbis mu appreciate...masuya hinoon or ingnon ka nga hambugero ka, manglabay hinoog plastic bottle nga ihi ug sulod kung mas paningkamuton nimog perform sa stage hehe. If we don't do something about it by making Cebu the Entertainment capital of the Philippines branching out to its Visayan neighboring islands and maybe Mindanao too, then change will never occur. If investors didn't believe Cebu was a good place to bet their money on coz there's less people and the market is not as great as Manila, there wouldn't be a Robinson's Dept. Store, or an SM, or an Ayala now. We wouldn't be proud unta to call it a City on an island. Naay saying nga the more impossible a marketable idea is, the more likely it is to be overly successful. heheh.

hmmm... u do have a good point.. but i think bands who only gig around cebu are in danger of over exposure.. moreover, cebu is such a small market for selling albums... i can say that for sure... i don't want to go to manila to make it, if only releasing a cd in cebu were enough... tsktsktsk... what we need in cebu is a sustaining culture wherein the people constantly purchase and appreciate original music and art!!! that's why our first prerogative is to build simply that--- A SUSTAINING CULTURE!!!

I just realzed I started a sense-less topic heheh. But I was thinking of full-blasting the cebuano artist's career in Cebu, produce everything there, mark a stamp on them that says "Made in Cebu" metaphorically, then that's when you start marketing all over the country, like F4, everything produced in Taiwan or whereever the hell they come from then marketed in the Philippines eventhough we have no freakin' idea what they're emoting and talking about unless you studied in a chinese school, like MTV being in Singapore, Broadcasted live from Singapore then viewed at tvs all over Asia. Channel V broadcasted mostly in Cantonese, pero tan-aw raman gihapon tang tanan diba? hahaha. Why would markets be limited only within the island of Cebu? Almost half of the Pinas maka sulti'g Bisaya, we could start off with that, then later move on to promoting the Visayan dialect ehhehe. Ambot sakto bani akong gipang-huna^ huna^.
