Default Tiberium wars: how to turn off Vsync

I'm currently playing C&C: Tiberium Wars Kane Edition

One thing that I noticed is that this game seems to use heavy graphics.

I seemed to notice that the FPS is capped at 30fps in actual game and in the main menu. tried to lower down the graphics to its lowest setting FRAPS shows 30fps, no different when maxing out all graphics settings still is at 30fps. I thinking if there is something wrong with the game. More likely VSync is used in this game to cap the FPS to 30.

30fps is unacceptable to me and not smooth enough. I have played BIOshock all maxed out average at 75fps vsync turned off. Seems that this pesky vsync settings is blocking all the fps juice that my system can provide.

Updated video drivers, the game itself is the latest version. Tried checking the graphics settings cannot turn off vsync or no settings for it in the game.

How can we turn off vSync for this game?

PS: I cannot properly search google since I have globlines I cannot visit a website outside of the philippines keeps timing out 90% at a time.

I believe you can force the use of vsync using a utility like Rivatuner.

If you are using an NVIDIA video card, you can use the NVIDIA Control Panel to force a specific application (in this case, Tiberium Wars) to turn off Vsync.

IMO, 30 fps ought to be enough for anybody. joke...

Nope i'm using Catalyst Control Center.

There should be a setting for the game itself.

I heard this game is capped at 30fps so players can get equal fps in online gaming. But this is single player.
My LCD itself is not capped at 30 FPS in its set to 75hz, or if my LCD is vsynced by the game should be capped at 75fps.

the game itself which is set to 30fps is the one that is limiting the graphics. I'm wondering if there is a hack or fix for this.

Mind 30fps is quite rough. should be at least 50-60fps.

Not all games have settings for vsync. The sole fact that it is capped by the game itself is reason enough to not put the option of enabling vsync since that would bypass their cap. A game engine that would have a feature to turn on vsync for single player only is an unneeded feature.

oh well this vsync feature seems a bit odd. It should not apply in single player, well have to wait for trainers that will overide this vsync.

Dont be mistaken I'm using the original version of the game as most of my games is original Im still using no cd cracks and trainers to avod wear and tear of this expensive media.

I might create a trainer for this game to fix this feature, hehehe.

    FYI...

C&C 3 Tiberium has a frame rate limiter.
It is set to 30 frames max no matter how heavy machine you are using to play the game.

There aren't going to be any cracks for vsync. That's just stupid. Use an external utility as has been suggested many times in this thread.
