Thread: IP camera

    Default IP camera

just asking for those who have experienced configuring IP cams. Lets say i want to secure my house and i bought 3 IP cams. I have the computer and internet. I know the hardware stuff like installing the cables to the cams. Can anybody show me how to configure the cam to the internet so that I could access it anywhere in the world, I mean what website should I use (is it free?), where to buy the IP addresses for the cam(s), etc. ?

I was suppose to make a thread about IP camera pero since naa na, diri na lang ko mag-ask.

I am planning to set up an IP camera. Medyo naa na ko knowledge on how to setup. Akoa lang is ang recording part which is confusing. I want it to record all motion detected when I enable such. Kaso lang ang storage. I can't keep my PC on all the time. Naa ba way para online niya i-store ang recorded video. Wala ko idea unsaon pag-setup like kanang FTP. Thanks sa makatabang.

Bro if your camera has a SD card slot from the board you can use that direct record from camera... no need to use your computer... but thier have a limitation of the storage space....it is possible 3-4 days using the 8gB of memmory..

aztech IP cam ako gi gamit
    1. port fowarding (router)
    2. multicam function (built in sa cam) = i acess isa ka IP cam.. makita ang uban camera on the same webpage
    3. built in msn = imo hatagan ug msn account nga pwede gamiton sa cam.. then i msg nimo to nga msn account (msg = url?) .. mo reply siya sa public IP address with port number
