VIVO (video in, video out) HOW TO USE?

As i might get an x1800xt gpu, and i really want to transfer all my old homevideos from vhs, hi8, even betamax, how do i work VIVO? can it only handle S-Video input? if it can handle RCA video in, then how come there's no audio in? does the audio go thru the audio line in on the mobo?

or should i get a separate video capture card? what's the lowdown....? thanks...

ViVo is only videoin, all audio must pass to your sound processor, all types of in and out connections can be used on a ViVo as it has a bunch of converters to cater all your video-in/out needs

@Earlz: so you mean that the audio will have to pass through my mobo (epox 9npa sli), as i dont have a sound card? would that be okay or would it be better to just buy one of these apart from the x1800xt:

just get a cable with both correct ends and plug it in your line-in rather than speding another $$ for a TV Tuner card
