HTC Touch Pro or Sony Xperia

I am choosing between the 2 to replace my e90. I am switching to WM6.1 because of the apps available. So much more than the Nokia.

HTC Touch Pro
-Touch Flo 3D
-5 row qwerty with dedicated numbers row

Sony Xperia
-Panels (which I think are nice but useless - like Samsungs Widgits)
-Nice metalic body and nice keypad feel
-Great Battery Life
-Its a Sony!

The only reason why I am so confused is because of the Touch Flo and 5 row qwerty. I hate to type and have to hold a button to access the numbers option like in a e61/63/71. I'd rather have the keypad set at once. But I like the shape and design of the xperia....

Tough choice for me. cost wise, xperia is a little more expensive.

go for experia. touch pro is a slouch in performance even compared to the htc Diamond.

You can also wait for the Touch HD No slide out lang, but huge screen.

yikes... xperia seems to lead. if i go for that il have to wait till around end of feb since its cheaper to buy that in hong kong... will consider. wish I could test the touch pro.

R.Y. the htc touch hd is nice but I really need the qwerty for work. Its so hard to use a touch screen for text. there is really no tactile feel even with haptic response like samsung and lg.

I agree with you 100% on that. I have not tried it myself but I was wondering maybe the bigger screen can compensate for bigger touchscreen keypads, and maybe adding a tone to the key will more or less make it easier.

My friend has the touch pro and his brother has the touch HD. if you just want to get the feel of testing it for a few minutes I will try to hook you guys up. Take note, the end decision is up to them though if they will allow.
