Because he makes perfect ****ing sense and I agree with him completely.

At some point, Thanos met the embodiment of Death itself who, in female form, became Thanos's companion Thanos began, for the first time in his life, to experience love for another being. As he grew in power, Thanos stole a starship and traveled to other star systems to recruit soldiers, mercenaries, and malcontents for a private army. With a small fleet, he dropped nuclear devices on his home world of Titan, "killing thousands of his people, including his mother", Sui-San, and declared himself ruler of Titan.

this bad ass mofo has accomplished more than what any superbaddie has in comics. and he is only human.

Actually, Ra's al Ghul is cool because his ideas make so much damn sense.

Like his idea to have all the cars, airconditioners and factories shut down so that the atmosphere could cleanse itself of all pollutants.

But, in order to achieve this, he planned to eradicate 90% of the world's population.

but thanos' unconcious self permitting his undoing is a factor to consider if he really is evil. perhaps we can say that his means to get on Death's good side is misguided and perverted, but the mad giant is inlove. you may also call it selfish and riddled with uterior motives, but his short-term alliances with the "forces of good" to save humanity and the universe from utter destruction cannot also be ignored or denied.

to sum it all up, he is just plain mad. it just happened to be that he became evil in pursuit for a hopeless case of romance.

Ra's recently stole batman's files about the jla and used it against the team. the result: superman was exposed to synthesyzed red kryptonite exposing his inner skin,a hypnotic chip was placed on wonder woman's ear trapping her in a combat hallucination, green lantern was blinded, flash i dont know how he was taken out, and the best hoot was aquaman who was exposed by the scarecrow's fear toxin. he was so scared in going back in sea water that he almost died. in the end, batman got kicked out of the team.
