no bro. education is not a primary problem. we are a country very much educated. we have more college grads compared (in percentage) to toher 1st world countries and yet we remain poor and exploited. why? because our wages can not even provide a decent living. EVEN the wages of our middle class can not afford a decent living. In fact, I dont even think we still have a middle class. Our wages are too low compared to the true value of LABOR. Even if you work 4 hours overtime everyday as a minimum wage earner, you can not still send 2 kids to a decent school, live in a decent house which you truly own and save in a bank at the same time.

okay, i answered my own question...inflation cant go on forever...

but, i still think that this paradigm shift would be very traumatic for the economy...for example, the major driving force of our economy is the export industry...under this theory, the export industry would die leading to loss of capital...why? simply because the products of the export industry is not aimed at the local market...what would a common pinoy do with designer furniture or a string of seashells for example?

although this would only be the birth-pangs...should the economy survive that, i'm quite optimistic that we'd be having better days right ahead...

although in the back of my head, a still little voice is saying: "sounds communist/socialist to me" hehehe
no bro, the export industry -designer furniture is currently for export market, yes. but dont you think if we have hyperwage theory- meaning a very much higher wage- then there will be a new market within the Philippines. The middle class will now afford your designer furniture. The Laborer can now afford the basic goods and services. Read the entire Hyperwage Theory, bro, the author explained everything. I can send you the file/copy thru email. Just PM me

political will - is the missing link. there's so much good programs already from time immemorial but much of the leaders and us, just don't have it to get it through. it's always half-way, half-spirited. just can't cross the finish line, can't deliver. the greatest obstacle - corruption. but that doesn't mean we can't do anything about it. in our own little way: "BE HONEST. Even if others are not. Even if others will not. Even if others cannot." that will go a long way. it will not happen in this generation. not even on next. but by doing so, we're carrying on the hope...that one day we'll be a great country.

That will only solve the farmers problem. Only a fraction of our economy. The ultimate solution is HYPERWAGE THEORY

    dreamers!

    Occams' Razor.

The poor is an instantiation of poverty.
    To eliminate poverty,
    we must eliminate the poor
    The question is how?

it must be a matter of efficiency. Perhaps, we could learn from the Germans.

I think anyone who's heard of Occam's razor would agree that it's not as simple as that. Even an application of the razor to a field like medicine is flawed. How much more on something like eliminating widescale poverty?
