as Stated "telephone calls are not the property of PLDT, but to the callers themselves". can they justify the use of voice calls using like yahoo to yahoo, skype to skype, Dost to DOST, Our Government encouraging us to use VoIP they serve the service of voice communication and giving it for free.

im not concern of their lose on how they earn money they may find alternative way or embrace the new era of communication, the big concern here is the consumers how to utilize the paid services they provide.

its up to you if you like to spend more money to service to an old way. knowing that there are lots of technology you can use and readily available.

wouldn't you fight for your own freedom?

Telco's know this much, kanang voice actually is pakapin nalang na. what drives today is the internet. ISR is another thing. it's for business, leased a T1/E1 line between phil to US for example and they reroute calls to that leased line, they usually do it with the use of load cards.

U observe telcos today, naglubaanay sa broadband/internet rollout. ila nalang na gipuga unsa pay mapuga sa voice services, but literally wa na jud na.

@Dammy thanks for bringing this up, i have a lot of ofw friends and relatives and i'm planning too to setup like this for their constant free communication with their loved ones...

Bai, Im based in DAVAO. I guess I was the first one who actually used your free service and quite impressed on it, although there is this "echoing" in the conversation. But its really fine, ... Hey, how about if you teach me how to do it here in davao? I have my Landline here, My landline phone covers the whole DAVAO CITY, the province of DAVAO del SUr, (Digos City, Bansalan, Sta.Cruz) and South Cotabato except. Gen.San.... those places are treated as "local-call" in my landline. I'm kinda thinking of making use out of it. It would be super kool for people who are from Davao - can use Skype to call their relatives...etc...

Teach me how.. and the requirements... im very interested.

    Thanks.
